While students are out of school for nearly 2 weeks, this can be a great time to catch up on filling in those reading charts and practicing student's basic multiplication facts. Ask your child which multiplication quiz they are on in class and help them get ready so that on Friday, January 3 they come in ready to tackle it and pass with flying colors!
Lastly, here is an interesting story I listened to on NPR this week that got me thinking. One of my resolutions is to get more and more regular sleep in 2014. Your child may be craving the same. Just some food for thought.You can read and listen to the story here.
