Thanksgiving Week

It is so hard to believe we are almost halfway through Marking Period 2!!!

This week, we took our first timed multiplication quiz.  It came home on Monday afternoon.  About 50% of our class passed this 0-2s quiz. Here are our students working hard and trying their best to complete the 50 problems in the 2 minute time limit:

We will take a timed quiz each week.  As students pass, they move on to the next quiz.  When they memorize the tables through the 12's they will receive a special reward!!!

This week, we are focusing on all of the things we have to be thankful for in our lives.  Everyone agreed we are so thankful for our families, the food and shelter they provide to us and for our friends here at school.  Each child has spent time reflecting on this and writing about it to share with you on Thursday- ask your child to share their paragraph with you and the family at the dinner table on Thurday.
